Bye- Bye Crib!

Over the past couple months Shaun and I have been talking about converting Brady's crib to a toddler bed. Luckily for us, Brady hadn't seriously tried to climb out yet. We've seen him attempt to put his foot up, but if had been serious about it, he would have scaled it in no time and probably fallen out. On a couple of occasions during nap time I was just waiting for the "thump" while I was listening to him jump & sing instead of nap.
So, on the day of the conversion, Brady decided to become serious about getting out on his own! Thankfully he got stuck and was calling to Shaun for help with one leg up and over the side.
Brady seems to love his new bed and I love being able to give him extra snuggles before he falls asleep! Now, if we could only keep him from falling out of his bed in the middle of the night!
(although the picture below shows him sleeping with his head towards the open end, he really doesn't...he just moves around alot I guess!)
