The past two weeks have been great. Blake is helping us adjust to his schedule and Brady loves his brother and staying home. It will be a shock for everyone when Shaun goes back to work on Monday. Blake still sleeps more than he is awake, although he is awake more and more of the day. He still sleeps well at night and only causes havoc when he pees through his diaper causing an immediate need to change the sheets. He still sleeps with me- more like, on-top of me. He still gets sponge baths, although I would have put him in the tub with Brady tonight if I had his bath seat ready to go. Brady likes to help by washing his feet- after I give him a bath I put his feet over the edge of the tub so Brady can clean them for me. During the past two weeks we celebrated Father's Day, Josh's birthday, went to school to visit and for interviews, met more of my friends, including Jaclyn and Marie, went to church, So Cal Tacos, and to the Dr. for his 2 week check up. His check up placed him in the 50th% for weight and height and this evening I calculated his weight to be 8.4 lbs. It is very official and accurate- I weigh myself and the both of us together and determine the difference is his actual weight. :) We can definitely tell he is gaining weight, he feels heavier and is fitting into his clothes a little differently. Blake still wears newborn clothes and we've been able to start using the cloth diapers again and they're fitting a bit better also- not as bulky as they were at first. In addition, the past two days he has seemed hungrier than before. He is constantly "hunting" for his food and seems to think there is an endless supply of milk. He still
getting this kid to sleep on his back is going to be a challenge!
Brady loves to put his fingers in his mouth!
Loves his binkie- even when he's not sucking on it.
Blake loves his daddy!
